Why it exists
Building in public runs on revenue updates, and most of them are dashboard screenshots. They’re quick, but they all look the same, they can be edited in a minute, and they expose every number. MotionMRR gives founders a better option: a video of the real curve, verified at the source, showing only what they choose.
How verification works
- You create a dedicated key in your payment provider. Where the provider allows it, the key is read-only: on Stripe, MotionMRR checks that the key can’t write and refuses it otherwise.
- The key is encrypted before it’s stored and never shown again.
- MotionMRR reads your subscription data and builds a monthly MRR curve. You can’t type or upload numbers.
- The video carries a verified badge. On paid plans it points to your public page, which names the provider and when it last synced.

The rules we follow
- Real numbers only. Every figure comes from your provider. Fictional demo data never backs a verified badge.
- Private by default. New accounts start private. Per video, you choose exact MRR, growth only or just the curve, and your public page stays off until you publish it.
- No rounding up. $12,480 is shown as “$12.4K”, never “$12.5K”.
- No fake milestones. Milestones are measured on your whole history, so a short period never shows a “crossed $1K” you didn’t really cross.
- Read-only. MotionMRR only reads from your provider and never sells your data or your revenue figures.
- Honest marketing. No fake testimonials, user counts or partner logos on this site.
